Melon Rainbow

Melon Rainbow is a teenage girl who yearns to be seen. She spends her nights in front of a webcam bathed in neon lights. During the day she works as a housekeeper for blind people.  Everyday life seems insignificant except her friendship with a young blind man.

Melon Rainbow is Laurits Flensted-Jensen’s graduation film from The National Film School of Denmark. It won the award for best danish short film at Odense International Film Festival in 2016 and has traveled around many festivals including SXSW and Rotterdam International Film Festival.
